Kristin H. Eyfells was born in Iceland and at the age of twenty-one she was C.E.O. and founder of a very successful dress business.  Early in her business career she met architect and sculptor, Johann Eyfells and four years later they married and moved to the east coast.  She decided to attend Hofstra University in Long Island, New York and inspired by her husband’s dedication to the arts, she signed up for a sculpture class.  Later they moved to Gainesville, Florida and she continued her studies at the University of Florida.  She began to exhibit in 1962 and has been featured in over one hundred exhibitions in the United States and Europe.  Kristin H. Eyfells passed away in Gainesville, Florida July 2002.
